I work individually with adults and young people offering open ended and short term therapy.
I have a Diploma in the Theory and Practice of Counselling (Person-Centred Approach) and have undertaken a number of related training courses which include a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (for qualified counsellors), Using Creative Skills in Counselling and anger management. I have trained as a Baby Bonding Practitioner to extend my work with women during pregnancy and postnatally.
I also have a BA (Hons) in Human and Education studies, qualified as a part-time youth worker and have trained in Neuro-linguistic Programming ( Core Skills Practitioner). I regularly lectured on a Counselling Diploma course and in 2016 I became a Director for Bucks Family Network (BFN).
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and I am bound by and adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I was audited by the BACP in 2018 and met all the requirements for practicing counsellors to be on the BACP Register. I hold full Professional Liability Insurance and a clear Criminal Records Bureau check.
